Sometimes making donations can feel a bit like eating your vegetables. Even when you know it’s good for you, opening your wallet brings back nightmares from childhood — staring down your peas as you begrudgingly force each spoonful down with a gulp. Just like those peas, you know the donation will help your business grow big and strong, so you hand over a fistful of leafy green bills.

But what if donating could be fun? Awesome, even? That’s the goal PC Tan and Palm Beach Tan had in mind when they started working behind the scenes on a special giveaway.

It’s a difficult reality that media scrutiny and regulation have played a growing role in the indoor tanning industry. In such an environment, salons are increasing their support of groups that continue working on the industry’s behalf.
