Television’s Style Network will be at Smart Tan’s annual convention Oct. 23 to follow and film keynote speaker Bill Rancic for his hit reality show, “Giuliana & Bill.” The Network will be following Rancic, who is the keynote presenter in the opening general session at 8 am Saturday, Oct. 23, in and out of Nashville, and will be recording his presentation and the crowd reaction.

“This is part of the reason we picked Bill as the keynote presenter at this year’s event,” Smart Tan Chairman Matt Russell said. “His message right now is relevant to this market and to the rest of America.”

A successful entrepreneur and overnight television celebrity, Rancic is the original winner of NBC’s hit show “The Apprentice” with Donald Trump, having turned a one-room home business into a multimillion-dollar operation in an entrepreneurial tale that any tanning business owner will relate to. That real story is why Rancic is this year’s keynote speaker. Several years after his introduction to America as Donald Trump’s original Apprentice, Rancic continues his commitment to entrepreneurship throughout the country. Today, he is building businesses, seizing opportunities and sharing his views on how to succeed in business and in life.

His keynote presentation at Smart Tan Downtown is titled, “Rising Up in the Face of Adversity: Thinking Like An Entrepreneur.”

A budding entrepreneur at a young age, Bill got his first taste of success by founding Cigars Around the World in a 400 square foot studio apartment in Chicago. The consistent adversity Bill faced in founding and building that business is similar to the adversity faced today by entrepreneurs in the indoor tanning market — which is why Smart Tan asked Bill to come share his powerful message as your keynote speaker. Bill overcame that adversity and today his 400-square-foot home business is a multi-million dollar operation owned by Synergy Brands, where he sits on the board of directors.

Currently, Bill is developing real estate in Chicago, producing and appearing in several television programs and speaking to businesses and organizations on motivational and business topics. Bill also regularly appears in The Board Room on NBC’s primetime show “The Apprentice.” He produces and stars in the A&E series “We Mean Business,” Style Network’s reality series “Giuliana and Bill” and is the executive producer of “Repo Man” on Discovery Channel.
