Q: What are some of the common points of confusion about tanning lamps?

A: A lot of salon owners don’t know enough about their lamps. They don’t understand wattage, reflectors or what the differences between the manufacturers are. Most commonly, I get asked about the difference between HO and VHO lamps, the difference between reflector and non-reflector lamps, lamp compatability, UVB percentages and high-pressure lamps.
