Q: How do high-quality lamps play into professionalism for tanning salons?

A: I think the effect is twofold. I think so many salons use our lamps because when you buy an inexpensive lamp, you’re more likely to get one that’s dead on arrival or burns out early, and it costs more in the long run than buying a higher quality lamp.

The other factor is that having poor-quality lamps is bad for PR for your business. If salon owners have customers come out and tell them that lamps are out while they are trying to make a sale, it’s going to be that much harder. Psychologically, they will not feel that they are getting as good of a tan, or that it’s not worth the money they pay. It’s worth paying a little extra to maintain a high standard of performance for your clients; both of you will know that you can expect things to be running at their peak.
