On Tuesday, March 17^th, the Her Campus University of Illinois chapter hosted its first ever “Taste of Spring Break” event at the Orange Leaf in the heart of the college town, Champaign. Students taking a break from their midterms got to wind down with froyo, a DIY photo booth, and of course fun giveaways from Designer Skin, just in time for Spring Break! Over 300 lotion samples and t-shirts were given away to students prepping for Spring Break trips to warmer and sunnier places!

In addition to the prizes, Designer Skin also promoted its #imgoingtanning social media campaign during this event. Students were encouraged to describe why they enjoy going tanning and to use the hashtag #imgoingtanning on their Facebook and Instagram accounts. They even created a fun video on YouTube called “Her Campus Illinois Taste of Spring Break” showcasing the event and the hashtag #imgoingtanning. Go check it out!
